SST’s ST40 4″ fixtures are also great for soffits. The ST40 is UL wet-listed and has a beam angle of either 90 or 120 degrees. The photo at left shows a row of ST40 light fixtures along the side of a warehouse. Each fixture is 6.5W, and collectively the lights light the field next to the building.
Residential Lighting Applications
SST’s energy efficient LED lights can be used for a wide variety of residential applications. Our small fixtures can often be used to light small spaces where otherwise not possible. All of SST’s residential LED lighting fixtures come with dimming, color-temperature tuning, and RGB color changing options; these are ideal to change the atmosphere in your home!

Soffit Lighting
The soffit area between an exterior wall and roofline (especially over a garage) is a great place to apply SST’s LED lighting. Our SR25 and SR50 can lights are ideal for this purpose. Both lights are UL wet-listed and provide coverage (beam angle) of either 90 or 110 degrees.
The SR25 is 1″ in diameter and comes either 4″ or 5″ tall (the 5″ light is fire-rated). The SR50 is 2″ in diameter and comes either 1-inch tall (20W halogen equivalent) or 2 inches tall (60W halogen equivalent).
Directable Lighting (SR50 Eyeball)
As shown in the pictures above, The SR50 Eyeball fixture is the ideal light fixture to install in sloped ceilings because it allows one to direct light as desired.
The SR50 Eyeball fixture can be used to accent wall pictures and wash walls with extra light as shown in the picture at left.
Adding additional wall lighting can be especially useful where walls meet the ceiling; this makes rooms appear taller and reduces the “cave effect”.
Kitchen Lighting
The pictures above show different kitchen lighting setups using SST’s ST10, ST30, ST40, SR25, and SR50 fixtures in different color temperature. Note that the 1-inch tall SR50 series is ideal to save on space required for installation.
