In 2011 Sunlite Science and Technology, Inc. supported the efforts of Studio 804, Inc. (a not-for-profit corporation committed to the continued research and development of sustainable, affordable, and inventive building solutions via the education of graduate students entering the final year of the Master of Architecture program at the University of Kansas School of Architecture, Design and Planning) and the University of Kansas (KU in Lawrence, Kansas) in the creation of the Center for Design Research (a Center for Sustainability and Research Development).
